The Take just recently played a birthday party at what was formerly Hot Shots Sport Pub on Rt. 25 in Newtown. It's in transformation to become the One Eyed Pig, so keep an eye out for the grand re-opening! We all had a blast, especially Derek, our new sax player!

Yet again, The Take had a blast playing at Molly's. What a fantastic party they have there every weekend. The coolest part was how DJ Mark was able to incorporate our logo in the visualizations on the screen behind us!

Last night The Take played Hot Shots Grill in Newtown, CT for the first time. The night was a ton of fun, it's realy a great place to play and hang out. Looks like we'll be back in March, so see you there!

We just updated the site to .NET 2.0. Everything should be pretty much the same, except the Music and Demo pages have been merged on music page. You can now download demo tracks directly from our song list! If you encounter any issues, please drop us a line!

This past Saturday we played our first weekend show at Molly Darcy's in Danbury, CT. All we can say is what a crowd!!!! Everyone was in such a mood to party, the dance floor was never empty! It was such a pleasure to have Jeff Herzog sitting in on the Sax and Steve Powers helped make the night a total success from his position on the sound board.
